With the goal of improving people's lives, we look to create “human habitats” or places where nature, people and infrastructure are thoughtfully woven together to balance and support each other. Our Name
Why "Fennel & Frog"? Our backyard pond attracts abundant frogs and toads every spring during their annual spawning, while fennel has made a home along one edge and now gives shade to the fish below. Amphibians are a delightful sign of a healthy ecosystem and fennel benefits us as an aromatic, medicinal, culinary herb and adds a perennial centerpiece for many visiting insects and pollinators.

Jim has extensive training and hands on experience in permaculture design, soil health, landscape design/installation, and is currently the Farm Manager at a permaculture farm in NE Ohio.
